We are excited and deeply grateful to share another encouraging milestone in our journey.
Thanks to the generosity and support of our amazing donors and supporters, two more widow mothers in Bota Land, Limbe, have received support to help boost their small businesses.
For many widow mothers, a small business is more than just a source of income. It is a lifeline.
It helps put food on the table. It helps provide for children. It helps pay bills and, in many cases, helps keep children in school.

Our Back-to-School Project: A Call for Support
As children prepare to return to school, many families are filled with excitement. Unfortunately, for some widow mothers, the back-to-school season brings worry and uncertainty.
The cost of school fees, uniforms, shoes, school bags, books and other learning materials can be overwhelming for a mother who is already struggling to meet the daily needs of her family.
That is why The Widow Mother Foundation is launching a Back-to-School Project aimed at supporting 50 children of widow mothers.
Our goal is to provide essential educational materials such as:
- School bags
- Books and exercise books
- Pens, pencils and other school supplies
- Uniforms and other essential items
- Support towards school fees for children in need
Education is one of the greatest gifts we can give a child.
No child should be left behind simply because their mother cannot afford the basic necessities needed for school.

We believe that changing lives does not always require one person to do everything.
Sometimes, it simply requires many people doing something.
